There is a new plaster on the block named "Marrakesh" applied by artisans using the
"Tadelakt process" of  application. Once applied the lime plaster is carefully compressed and rubbed  with  steel, wooden and plastic trowels before polishing with a stone and olive soap. Over the years the  product has taken the name of the process" Moroccan Tadelakt " ....the importance is in the finish...

As Hard as Marble  - As Soft as Silk

(WIKI) Traditional Tadelakt is produced in the area of Marrakech.
Tadelakt is a Berber word meaning to rub.

The "Tadelakt process" is the oldest and most prized Moroccan secret. It's  unique finish was
used as the coating of the old Turkish Hamas (steam houses), Riads and palaces of Morocco.
The plaster is worked and polished with pure olive soap to add to the shine,
but perhaps even more important, to make sure the surface is left waterproof.

"Marrakesh" Lime Plaster gives you that luxurious, exotic and seamless
feeling of natural stone .. in your own home.
